Right Now.

Outside my window...I wish it were sunnier

I am thinking...that I can’t wait until Saturday!!

I am thankful for...my kids, my parents, my church fam, and my very good friends-I love my community!

From the kitchen...I smell soup! I’m making soup for “Empty Bowls”, a benefit to help end hunger.

I am wearing...capris, gray t-shirt and a cardigan plus the workday ponytail

I am creating...a recycled float for Girl Scouts 100^th Birthday.

I am going...to a school band concert, a benefit to end hunger and crazy

I am reading...The Help and Cry The Beloved Country.

I am hoping...for some big things-hope we can work it all out.

I am hearing...the bus and it’s squeaky brakes!

Around the house...we’ve got science fair projects and other year end projects in various states of completion.

One of my favorite things...when hubby makes me breakfast-which is almost every day. I miss it when he’s not home!

A few plans for the rest of the week: ortho appointments, work, getting caught up with VBS duties, 4H, TKD tourney, and a little welcome home party!

Right Now.

Outside my window...it’s dark and rainy and strange noises in the woods

I am thinking...about how glad I am that hubs is not traveling just now.

I am thankful for...a clean bill of health at the Dr’s today.

From the kitchen...a GF chocolate cake is being devoured by a hungry teenager.

I am wearing...new pj’s and a tank top plus socks over my newly oiled up feet-trying a “recipe” from Pinterest for cracked heels.

I am creating...scrapbooks in my head-must actually get into the craft space and make it happen!

I am going...to bed.

I am reading...a free book on my Kindle. Can’t remember title.

I am hoping...that my garden grows well this summer-we are first time veggie gardeners.

I am hearing...a chorus of insects humming and buzzing away outside.

Around the house...things are quiet messy-need some serious cleaning up around here.

One of my favorite things...sleeping with the windows open during a storm.

A few plans for the rest of the week: work, work, assist with 5^th grade science fair project, work, chaperone an overnight Girl Scout event, baby shower, volley ball clinic…

Right Now.

Outside my window...it’s gray and drizzly

I am thinking...how fun it is to wear this t-shirt again-it was too tight to wear before.

I am thankful for...the fact that my family is healthier than we were a year ago.

From the kitchen...not much is happening-heading off to a breakfast meeting.

I am wearing...my “I draw pictures everyday” t-shirt from Veer, a jean jacket, sandals, and capris that haven’t fit in maybe 5 years or more.

I am creating...calm out of chaos around my home-it’s clean up time.

I am going...to enjoy this day.

I am reading...2^nd book of the Hunger Games, Moby Duck, Cocktail Hour Under the Tree of Forgetfullness

I am hoping...get my “lists” caught up today, go buy meat at Anderson’s and look for new scrubs that fit.

I am hearing...the rumble of somebody’s truck motor in the distance and the hum of my laptop

Around the house...cookie box stacks are dwindling as the troops cookie stash gets depleted! Want to buy more cookies?

One of my favorite things...cuddling up with a good book and my Lola dog.

A few plans for the rest of the week: meeting up with a friend, taking the girls to TKD, cheering on hubs at his first race, baked potato bar party with friends…
